What  is “PLDA”?

“Paperless Customs Access” is the introduction to the application and the electronic processing of declarations. It replaces the SADBEL (current system). For the introduction of statements, PLDA offers two possibilities:
PLDA-Web: a web application providing FREE by our government for the introduction of customs declarations and accisiennes. You only need a computer, a broadband Internet connection, a browser and an ID card or an electronic certificate class 3 to identify you.
PLDA-EDI: an application to introduce customs declarations and accisiennes electronically via EDI notice (Notice EDIFACT or XML) that is sent to your computer system the system of Customs and Excise. To do this, a number of solutions offered by software vendors (“Software providers”).

Is “PLDA” required?

Regarding customs agencies are already required to use SADBEL, use the “PLDA” will also be required for the introduction of customs declarations on Single Document.
